Air-cooled generators

Air-cooled generators are particularly compact and achieve world-class efficiency levels of up to 98.8 percent. They are suitable for gas and steam turbines in power plant operations as well as in industrial and oil and gas applications.

Hydrogen-cooled generators

Hydrogen-cooled generators feature high performance and a long life. The hydrogen provides for low frictional losses and increases performance as well as efficiency. The SGen-2000H series achieves an output of up to 600 MVA and operates at efficiency levels as high as 99 percent.

Generators with water-cooled stators and hydrogen-cooled rotors are the optimal solution for the highest output ranges. Their compact design combined with our unique water-cooled stator means they are suitable for large steam power plants.
